We wanted to inform you of some important changes happening to our vet discount program. We are launching a new and exciting program for veterinary professionals called the JFFD Ambassador’s Circle! We appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our offerings. Thank you for your loyalty and for supporting our commitment to providing quality nutrition for pets. Please refer to the FAQ below for details regarding the upcoming changes.

What items can I use the Ambassador Program discount for?

Discounts can be applied to all fresh frozen, pantry fresh, supplements, and DIY. Discounts cannot be used toward treats.

No, you do not need to register again. Your current enrollment will be valid for the new program.

How long is the discount good for?

Your discount is good for one year from the date that it was applied. We ask that you register and attend another webinar the following year to extend your eligibility.

How long does it take to process the discount?

The discount is applied automatically at checkout once all requirements are fulfilled. No discount code is needed. An email will be sent to the email address you provided for our JFFD Ambassador Circle program when your discount is activated. Once you’ve completed all the required steps, please allow up to 2 weeks to receive an email confirming your membership into the JFFD Ambassador’s Circle, which means your discount privileges are active!

To register for an Ambassador Circle Webinar, please visit our events page to view our upcoming qualifying webinars. Since this is for personal use only, an entity/hospital cannot sign up on behalf of all their employees. Each individual person must register separately. Registrants must be in attendance for the entire duration of the webinar to be eligible for the discount benefits.

Our first webinar is scheduled to launch Feb 27, 2024 at 12PM (PST) All currently enrolled members can continue to enjoy their discount benefits online and JFFD-owned retail stores (excluding Petco and third-party retailers) through April 30, 2024. We are working hard to make sure there is no lapse in your current discount benefits.

I’ve attended the Ambassador Circle Webinar. Where can I use my discount?

If you want to use your discount in-store, at any of our own retail locations (this does not include Petco and third-party retail locations)
You’re all set! If you don’t require employment verification, you will receive an email once you’ve officially joined the JFFD Ambassador’s Circle and your discount privileges are active! Just go into any JFFD-owned retail location (excluding Petco and third-party retailers), give them your ID at checkout and your benefits will be applied. If you want to use your discount benefits online at justfoodfordogs.com
If you don’t already have an account created on our online storefront, you will need to have an account created under the email you attended the webinar with. You can make an account by visiting justfoodfordogs.com/login. This account is different from your Vet Portal account.

Once you’ve created your account, we will locate your information and apply your discount benefits to your justfoodfordogs.com account within two weeks. If you don’t require employment verification, you will receive an email once you’ve officially joined the JFFD Ambassador’s Circle and your discount privileges are active! Reminder for hospital staff

We appreciate and support all veterinary professionals. Active and/or retired veterinarians (must provide license number) Licensed technicians (must provide license number) Current staff actively employed in a veterinary practice (must prove employment) Veterinary students (must use school email) **All eligible participants, with the exception of relief/retired veterinarians and veterinary students MUST be employed at a vet practice/mobile vet to be eligible for the JFFD Ambassador Circle.

Since this is for personal use only, an entity/hospital cannot sign up on behalf of all their employees. Each individual person must register separately. Registrants must be in attendance for the entire duration of the webinar to be eligible for the discount benefits. Our system automatically detects your attendance time and applies the discounts accordingly. We have no way to manually honor a discount if you haven’t met the requirements.

What changes are coming to the discount program?

We are transitioning from the current open-access 50% discount program to a more engaging approach. While our discounts remain the same at 50%, ambassadors must attend a 45-minute virtual webinar hosted by a JFFD specialist. We will require proof of employment at a veterinary practice for hospital staff, or license numbers for veterinarians and licensed technicians. All currently enrolled members can continue to enjoy their discount benefits online at justfoodfordogs.com and at JFFD-owned retail stores (excluding Petco and third-party retailers) through April 30, 2024.
